The Bible quotes repeatedly that GOD allows himself to be found by people when they truly seek Him with all their heart (referencing Biblical texts such as Jeremiah 29, James 4, Judges 10, 2 Chronicles 20), but most people on earth don’t do that because they perceive it will mean they will have to change what they are blinded to seeing is a self-focused way of living at the expense of others. This includes the lust, fame, thrills, and fortune their flesh craves after, disregarding God and others in the process. All about me.

Who is God revealed to be in the Bible?

In an all out search for who God is in the Bible, He is very clearly found to be 3 Perfect Beings existing as One GOD, so God exists in loving relationship within Himself (Luke 3, John 1, and Genesis 1 to name a few). And this makes PERFECT sense that this key characteristic of our Maker, of existing in perfect loving relationship within Himself, is then reflected in humanity (though imperfectly due to fault within ourselves). The Bible states God created the whole universe by a spoken word- and created it originally perfect, just like God is perfect. BUT what was his most precious creation, was human beings, as he created human being in His image and likeness, and gave us all a chance to experience perfect loving relationship with Him, which most people will never realize actually is the greatest joy and peace in the world, AND the meaning of life (Referencing Genesis, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, and Romans to name a few). But for a perfect reason He did not make the morally conscious beings in a manner where they were forced to obey Him, He gave us a free will choice for a perfect reason, though we may never fully grasp that. And with that free will, the first humans He made ended up choosing temptation and doing what God told them would severely damage their relationship with Him, and also bring death into the world, and their lives. Because up to that point, the Bible indicates death did not exist yet. This would not just impact them… The moment they sinned against God, the creation was no longer perfect and all the suffering and evil which could ever exist, would curse this universe and all the created things and beings within it, and humanity would be cursed for the duration of this earth’s existence. AND we all deserve the curses BECAUSE every person given the mental capacity and time to do so ALWAYS opposes and sins against God 100% of the time and damage the relationship within him according to the Bible which states this repeatedly, including one passage which states “for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”. An honest observation of ourselves and others also reveals this clearly – all are sinners if given the mental capacity to be, and this is a deserved curse on the world that all people are born with a nature to sin if given the chance. You may think your pretty good… But do you actually truly care to do anything to feed people starving to death – including little children with any blessing you have – or are you totally self focused? Do you look at internet pornography and lust after people you aren’t married to – causing damage to you and your relationships you should be attending to? Do you lie to people or take advantage of people? Do you care anything about the unborn lives terminated in your city? Do you give thanks at all to your Maker for anything, and genuinely want relationship with Him, or is it all manufactured? Or is it actually all about you, you getting the attention, what others think of you, your ideas, your pride…  To stand up and say one is without sin is a lie.

You may wonder, WHY though would infants and very young children also be cursed for things they perhaps personally never did? In part, this is because it was no longer deserved for sinful people who oppose God to have perfect children – and infants and children have an inner nature that if given the time to grow to a mental capacity where they could sin against God and others, they 100% of the time would do that.

We can do nothing to go back in time and undue the damage we have done to other people, and our relationship with Him. We can do nothing to undue the negative ripple effect our each sin has on the entire universe, and the missed opportunities of what could have been. Good works don’t undue that, because we should have done infinitely better. In fact every good work is so flawed since we are human, to a perfect God they are but a filthy rag infected with hidden sins and motivations, and that is why the Bible says the debt we owe God is a debt that cannot be payed by humanity.  And the most sobering thing in this whole existence is, becaue it cannot be paid by man, on man’s effort alone, when his checkout date comes from earth, he is not seen righteous before God, he is seen as what he is, selfish and morally corrupted, and God is perfectly just, meaning what they deserve is not heaven with the God they don’t want, they go to hell where they go to be burned forever, weep in regret and agony to the max a human could ever experience, apart from the presence of the God who made them and loved them.  That is what separation from God is in it’s fullness – existing in pure horror, evil, pain, agony, everything that has no good in it. Because good is only possible where God is. BUT! Don’t give up Hope because… GOD has thrown out a lifeline to us which we must grab ahold of with all our heart and be spared from hell, and enter back into relationship with God.

WHAT IS THIS LIFELINE?

In the most beautiful and undeserved act of sacrificial love to humanity, who mostly all hated and rejected Him throughout all human history… One of the Persons of God, The One Who takes on the Perfect Character of a Son in the Godhead (referred to as “God The Son” in the Bible), who played a role in creating everything, even created you, the one reading this. This person of God planned all along with the other members making up God (God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit) to do the following. He supernaturally left heaven and His precious perfect relationship with the members of God – emptied Himself of His glory and appearance – and came to earth as fully human (Hebrews), to make a way for our fine to be paid if we would go to Him. He would experience to the MAX all the temptation, pain, and suffering, more than any human being would ever experience, yet without sin. He would perform many many miracles that were beyond things anyone has ever done – and healed and helped countless people in ways no one else could. BUT His ultimate pupose was this – To become the only forever acceptable sacrifice for the believers sins, by allowing God the Father to place the world;s sin on his shoulders, after allowing the world who mostly always has hated him to publicly execute him in one of the greatest forms of human torture ever invented. At which point God the Father would pour out His full wrath towards the worlds sin onto Jesus, as if His son was the one who had committed them. How was this not wrong morally? Because God wanted to do this in sacrificial love for others – not out of injustice – though it is hard to wrap ones brain around that. Your sin and others sins against God is why He was beaten and crucified. This spiritual pain Jesus went through, was of no comparison greater than the physical torture he endured – even though he was flogged with flesh destroyed and bleeding out, beaten and bruised, with a crown of thorns on his head – stopping just short of what could kill a person, before carrying his own cross to the execution  site where his body was nailed to it and raised up off the ground, where it is believed victims eventually died of suffocation after hours of struggling and fighting for their life. All the while people mocking, hating, and spitting on Him. All this paled in comparison to bearing the sin of the whole world, yours included, on his shoulders as if He himself were responsible for them… As Christ hung crucified, there reached a point to where God the Father could no longer be in the presence of God the Son, who had BECOME sin in our place – at which point He turned his back on Him and left His only Son in relationship… This is when God the Son cried out, in perhaps the greatest anguish ever felt by anyone ever – “My God My God, why have you forsaken me!”, exactly what one of the hundreds of prophecies about Jesus in Psalm 22 prophesied he would say roughly 1000 years prior, also giving details about his crucifixion, (this written at a time crucifixion wasn’t even invented yet). He felt a greater pain than you or I could ever fathom. In God the Son’s final precious breathes of life… before allowing Himself to die, He would be more concerned about others than He ever was Himself… The last word He would cry out was… “It is finished”… The unpayable sin debt had now been paid BUT ONLY FOR THOSE WHO WOULD CHOOSE TO RECEIVE THIS UNDESERVED AND UNEARNED GIFT THROUGH TRUE FAITH IN GOD THE SONS SACRIFICE. WHICH IF THE FAITH IS TRUE – THEN A PERSON WILL NO LONGER DESIRE TO CONTINUE LIVING IN SIN – BUT WILL DESIRE TO LIVE FOR CHRIST – THOUGH WE MAY STILL FAIL – THIS WILL NO LONGER REFLECT HOW CHRIST HAS CHANGED OUR HEARTS DESIRES.

“FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE” – JOHN 3:16

If you are numb to what I’m saying, go back and reread it and think about it until you cry, and remember you made it worse for Him, and so did I. We were the cause of his death.

A KEY IN THIS THOUGH IS THAT JESUS CHRIST DID NOT STAY DEAD… Only 3 days after the execution and burial of Jesus Christ – the prophecy would be fulfilled that the Savior would raise back to life – God the Father would raise Him back to life and he would appear to hundreds upon hundreds of his followers and eyewitnesses for a period of many days and have physical interaction with them. PEOPLE WHO IN EMBARRASSING DETAIL INDICATED HOW THEY ABANDONED JESUS CHRIST AT THE CRUCIFIXION AND DOUBTED AFTER HIS DEATH THAT HE WAS THE SAVIOR AND WENT INTO HIDING FOR FEAR THEY WOULD BE THE NEXT TO BE EXECUTED FOR – PEOPLE WHO WOULD HAVE A MIRACULOUS AND SUDDEN TURNAROUND WHEN JESUS APPEARED TO THEM AND CONFRONTED THEIR LACK OF FAITH.

THE BIBLE RECORDS THAT THIS WAS ESSENTIAL BECAUSE IT SHOWED JESUS CHRIST REALLY HAD CONQUERED OUR SIN, AND IT WAS JUST ONE MORE PROOF HE COULD RAISE US BACK TO LIFE TOO WHEN WE DIED IF WE WERE TRUSTING IN HIM. THAT IS THE BEST OF GIFTS TO US. Perhaps though the most powerful and beautiful part of the entire account of the life of Jesus Christ that has happened, was his final interaction with the followers who didn’t leave him when most of the world did. He would lead many of his followers on one last walk as a human to the point where He would raise back to heaven. At that point He would tell them He would return one day to end the earth’s evil and end the current earth – and usher all humanity into eternity, but He said that time for Him to do that was not yet AND that this would be in a time no one would be able to predict. The Bible states His second coming will be immediately obvious to everyone on earth because it will illuminate the whole sky like a lightning bolt seen at every part of the earth – it would not be a hidden appearing only a few people would see as if he was in a house or anywhere on earth, no, every person on earth will see Jesus Christ in the sky when he returns to end the earth in judgement. He also had told them He was not going to leave them alone – He said He would send the Holy spirit, one of the 3 persons of God – to be their guide, He also told people where 2 or more would be gathered in His name there He would be in Spirit, – these are also true for us today. Jesus has not left us or forsaken us – He is still here, just in a different form. His presence could still, and still is experienced, though we may not see his physical form, we see the most important thing about Him, we see His character and what He is saying to us through His word as recorded in the Bible. But like the most precious friend – no doubt we can long to see Him face to face. So there… on the mount of Olives in Israel, surrounded by a group of those in true loving relationship with their Maker, though they once rejected Him, would watch their best friend they would ever have levitate up and away. This leg of the race was finished… ALL for their sake, all for your sake, all for my sake. The thing is though, these people weren’t described as weeping – they rejoiced, why? Because they knew He was alive and would remain with them in Spirit, they knew they weren’t going to lose Him, they knew they were close to spending eternity with the truest friend they’d ever known, they knew the Holy Spirit – one of the persons within God Himself would be the next one to help guide them into all the truth – and they knew they had the words of God that Jesus Christ revealed to them on earth which they would selflessly follow the command of Christ to write down and pass along verbally – spreading it to the whole world, to show the world how one could be saved from sin and hell through faith in Christ alone (revealed fully below), all because of the grace of God to us. Now, you may wonder, why God would use people to spread his message if He is all powerful? God absolutely has throughout all human history revealed Himself to humanity supernaturally – and ultimately the only one who leads someone to know Him and place their faith in God, is God – but He uses people for a perfect reason. In part it is to test our faith in Him – and because He delights to work through His creation who accepts Him.

Jesus followers got to experience like so many people throughout history have… what humanity was made for… what we were intended to experience… true loving Relationship with our Maker and God, just thinking about that can bring tears to the eyes. And it is this very same loving relationship that is offered to your horribly broken soul right now if you are open to it… If you are open to it, God is reaching out his hand to you today in true love – perhaps with a tear in His eye, saying “take my hand, please come back to me, I love you perfectly even though you’ve hurt me countless times in your life, I desire to show you saving grace”. And if you in that moment realize that the path you are on is doing horrible damage to your relationship with the Only One who will ever love you perfectly, who cries tears of pain over your soul, and if you in that moment have a heart change and turn around, leaving the sin behind and running back to the True God, then He will sprint to meet you and embrace you before you can even say a word… and at that very moment in time, you are forever welcomed back into relationship with Him, and at that moment in time Jesus sacrificial death for your sake is applied immediately to you, meaning God sees the sin debt you owed as paid in full by His Son, which means He sees you as righteous – no longer a sinner who has earned just eternal death… And this alone is how a person gets to heaven… It’s always been this basic. In heaven a person experiences the fullest relationship with their best Friend and Maker forever. He understands perfectly what will bring us the most good and blessing even when we don’t see it, and He offers this to us in perfect love.

BUT… the tragedy is some people in their heart do not believe this, and deep down they want no relationship with this Maker who laid his life down for them, some trust the foolish and hopeless lies of men – the prideful idea man knows everything/enough already, and God knows if they will ever come to Him or not even if he gave them the rest of time. This is why he allows us to die when we do, because He gave us all the time we would ever have needed (At the end of this article a biblical case is made for all those who have not reached the mental capacity yet to reject Christ and God going to heaven – such as infants and very little children). Some people’s character is such that they actually really would hate God for eternity if given that much time to repent – that may surprise you but it is true. BUT WHAT WOULD SHOCK MANY IS THAT THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WHO AREN’T SAVED ARE ACTUALLY LIKELY PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY DO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND EVEN CHRIST IN FALSE RELIGIOUS SYSTEMS WHERE SALVATION HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM A GIFT OF GRACE APPLIED TO US THROUGH TRUE FAITH IN CHRIST ALONE, INTO THAT NOT BEING SUFFICIENT, YOU MUST DO THIS, THIS, AND THIS BASED ON A TWISTING OF WHAT BIBLE PASSAGES ACTUALLY MEAN IN FULL CONTEXT, OR SOME OTHER “SPECIAL REVELATION” WHICH CONFLICTS WITH THE WORD OF GOD. AND WHAT THIS LEADS TO IS PEOPLE WHO DO NOT TRULY IN THEIR HEART TRUST CHRIST OR HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM – RATHER THEY ARE TRUSTING THEIR OWN MERIT TO EARN SALVATION OUT OF ALL THE RELIGIOUS SYSTEMS OF THE WORLD WHICH THE BIBLE SAYS IS IMPOSSIBLE. OR PEOPLE ARE ONLY IN GOD FOR WHAT THEY CAN GET OUT OF HIM AND HAVE NO CARE TO TURN FROM SIN INTO LOVING RELATIONSHIP – BUT RATHER JUST TRY AND USE GOD AS A GENIE TO GET HEALTH, WEALTH, AND HAPPINESS – AND ONCE WE HAVE THAT THEN WE NO LONGER HAVE ANY USE FOR GOD. People who practice these things often spread these false messages to others and lead them down the same path – this is not pleasing to God as it is lying and or spreading a false message on the most critical issue of all… Salvation… And what a true loving relationship with God is. And I do not believe these people who do this are guiltless, there is hidden sins inside their thinking that lead them down these paths. The most sobering tragedy of all will happen to these people in the end if they stay on that path, as Matthew 7 records,

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”

People who die not wanting a relationship with the true God will get their wish they have wanted their whole life, to not be in relationship with the true God for eternity. And if they really in their heart were actually just trusting themself to save themself the whole time… they will spend eternity with the same person they worshiped…. no god/themself – for their god does not exist, and is likely Satan or demonic forces in disguise as a “god” as Satan has done through the course of human history. He deceives people in this way who love and cling to their emotions and pride and ability to save themself rather than God – that is his open door to do this. You better believe Satan and demonic forces know any weakness of yours God allows them to, and will try and exploit you to the max in extremely extremely tactical and deceptive ways – pretending to be “god” and “light”, if God did not hold Him back he could perhaps deceive all of us. He can even pretend to be a “Jesus” who saves people different than in the Bible – if that is the only way he can destroy a person. They may concede and allow us to do work which opposes them in social issues if it means ultimately in the end we lose their own soul and deceive others into false religion. The tactics of darkness in the Bible were very real, they would test people to the max God allowed. That’s why we have to root ourself in the words of the Bible and not just go off opinions of man, or take everything a teacher says to be true. God’s word read in full context – letting context define the meaning (not cherry picking verses out of context) is the authority for which all else is judged to be right or wrong. God will not let evil ever tempt you beyond what you can bear either, and He only allows this for our ultimate good and growth – and trials allow us all to see who is for the true God, who pretends in their heart to follow the true God, and who will reject God.

Any moment could be our last, get into relationship with the true God before it is too late.

Once you have placed your faith in Christ you will then have a mind that will over time rapidly renew – and you will be able to see clearly for the first time in your life that we warn people about abortion… Because your loving Maker commands us against the very things that make up modern abortion throughout the Bible.
